“I’m really into speed and time compression. When you’re fast people think you’re smart,
think your products are of higher quality, think that you’re worth more…
and they’re willing to pay more money for it.”

Brian Tracy

IF THERE’S ONE piece of advice I could pass on to you, it would be this…

We’re all playing a high stakes game of one and done…you have exactly one life in which to do everything you’ll ever do.

Therefore, it’s in your best interest to step up, get focused and find the fastest way to achieve your goals and making check marks on that bucket list.

Ultimately, it’s a choice between two options…you can spend the remainder of your life accomplishing small stuff slowly…or you can learn to upgrade your execution skills and achieve big goals quickly.

At the risk of being blunt…I’m going to lay it on the line for you.

There’s no added virtue, nothing worth bragging about in getting rich slowly, in getting healthy slowly, in learning a new skill slowly, in turning your business around slowly…nor in achieving any goal slowly.

Zip. zero. nada.

When you make bank deposits, they don’t add a bonus for “slow” nor deduct a penalty for “fast”.

Unfortunately, most of us have been conditioned to believe that there is something wrong with achieving goals quickly or that the very idea is “fool’s gold” and implausible, even an outright lie.

I ask you to ask yourself: Have any of the sources of that viewpoint achieved their goals quickly?

Or at all?

As someone who repeatedly, consistently, and quite routinely works with people and organizations who accelerate from standing starts to giant accomplishments, “achieving goals fast” is my reality.

And transferring that reality to you is the purpose of this series.

I have a very simply philosophy when it comes to goal achievement…

“If you’re going to work hard to achieve a goal, you owe it to yourself to find the fastest way to get it done.”

If that thought sounds appealing…here’s what you have to do.

You have to say adios to conventional wisdom, false assumptions and low expectations…and surrender the self-limiting beliefs you’ve been hanging onto regarding exponential growth and rapid goal achievement.

They have no place in your life and only serve to sabotage performance, spook you into quitting, and relegate you to the slow lane.

If you can’t, won’t or simply refuse to accept what I’m about to share with you… you’re making a gargantuan mistake, one which will cost you in a big way.

Quite frankly, because life is a one and done proposition…you cannot afford to discount or frown upon anything in this message.

Think about it, if your goal is to…

Become debt free…why perpetuate the pain and do it slowly?

Get in great shape…why should it be a long draw out process?

Get better grades…why should it take any longer than the next exam?

Get rich…why not learn how to get rich fast, and while you’re young for that matter.

Become the sales leader in your firmwhy should it take until next quarter or next year when you can wear the crown next month?

THE TRUTH IS…any task, goal, plan or project expands so as to fill and reinforce the unnecessary amount of time you’ve made available for its completion.

Today that changes forever!

READY. SET. ACCELERATE.

Of course, many of us wish for health, wealth and happiness to come more quickly. Since the beginning of time people have been trying to speed things up.

How do you accelerate your rate of success?

How do you multiply your performance, dramatically exceed your highest expectations, and achieve goals on a pace and scale that in the past seemed impossible?

One of the simplest ways is when someone can make things crystal clear for you so you can avoid mistakes and shortcut success simply by reading or hearing their advice – and then take action based on it.

When I was starting out in business, I had virtually no hands-on help. I had no in-person coaches or mentors teaching or guiding me. There were no examples for me to follow.

I relied, mostly on books for information and motivation, trial and error as well as baptism by fire.

This was wonderful but also extremely painful, and it is my hope that my stories and strategies will provide you with what you need to make good decisions, increase your profits and shortcut your path to rapid results.

TIME COMPRESSION

Over the years…I’ve learned to discipline myself by focusing only on the behaviors and strategies that give me the biggest results in the shortest amount of time…you must learn to do the same.

The great part about life is that you have a choice on how you spend your time each day. Doesn’t it ONLY make sense to concentrate your energy on the strategies that will give you the biggest breakthrough and results?

Time is an unrecoverable asset…and unlike any other asset or resource, what makes time truly unique is that it cannot be bought or sold, borrowed or stolen, stocked up or saved, bartered, manufactured, reproduced, or modified in any way.

All we can do is make use of it…and that’s precisely why we need to learn how to squeeze and compress its use.

As it relates to accelerating your results…compression or compressive forces are two forces moving in opposite directions (towards one another) to compress, shorten and reduce the length of time it takes to achieve your goals.

The two forces we’re talking about here and which are quickly accelerating towards one another are your behaviors and your goals.

Together, they act like powerful magnets pulling you and attracting the necessary resources toward the achievement of your goals.

The more focused your energies, the more passionate your desire, the more consistent your behavior…the faster you achieve your goal.

A short list of behaviors that compress time and which do an excellent job of demonstrating a strong offense include…

  • Focus
  • Accountability
  • Consistency
  • Discipline
  • Enforcement of Deadlines
  • Positive Attitude
  • Decisiveness
  • Gritty Perseverance
  • Charisma
  • Hustle
  • Relentless Execution

WHAT ABOUT TIME EXPANSION?

Tension, or what I like to call resistance forces…are two opposing forces moving in opposite directions (away from one another) to stretch, lengthen or expand the length of time it takes to achieve your goals.

The same two forces…your behavior and goals are now adversarial and work against one another.

Together, they repel one another and aggressively work to expand and accelerate the distance between where you are and where you want to be.

A short list of behaviors that compromise results and expand the amount of time it takes to achieve any goal includes…

  • Apathy
  • Indecision
  • Excuses
  • Blaming
  • Procrastination
  • Inconsistency
  • Fear
  • Negative Attitude
  • Low Self-Esteem
  • Poor Follow Through

By engaging in these behaviors…you are in fact sabotaging any chance of success…you are perpetuating pain, increasing tension, compromising performance and intensifying your own suffering.

BEHAVIOR NEVER LIES

If you want to predict someone’s chances of success (or your own for that matter), just watch how that person spends his or her time.

Time can only be compressed or expanded, and that’s precisely why you need to learn how to compress its use and upgrade your execution skills so that you can shorten your path to success.

Time compression is one way you can accelerate your rate of success.

There are others of course and in Part 3 of this series…we’ll take a deep dive into the world of exponential growth and blow your mind with a famous billionaire’s strategy for driving radical results quickly.

Everything Counts!
